Best brown rice brand and where to buy?

    DNM- Instant doesn't much taste. Yes it comes in handy sometimes. But if you want to stay healthy I think it should come from our Kitchen. We have to balance it out as you say :))

    I have eaten lots of breads in North India made of gehun ka atta (whole wheat) so I am not sure why I should be confused. One thing though....are you saying that the dal doesn't have fiber? The beans we eat here in USA normally still have their husk (?) (is that the proper word...that coat on the center part) which is high in fiber. In taking that off of dal, is the fiber then gone? eg split lentils, split moong

    How do you cook brown rice to make it fluffy like white rice?

    on stove(in a vessel)/electric cooker/pressure cooker?
