Best breastpump for working women in India?

ramya, is ur LO taking bottles? i was contemplating buying a pump... but wondering if zoey will even will to be bottlefed

I went in for Avent ISIS IQ Uno. And it is good so far.
LO is not taking bottles. I pump twice a day and atleast give her once in the afternoon through cup/spoon. She is not very comfortable in drinking thro spoon. But, I want to try and avoid bottles. Sometimes, I too feel it will be easier with bottles.

But, like I mentioned in the other thread, LO seems to want to latch on even after she has drunk !!

 

ramya how loud is your ISIS pump? and does it run on batteries or u can plug it as well?

 

Pooh - I was worried about the noise initially. But this is definitely NOT so. It is like some insect buzzing sound, thats all. I am quite happy.
May be Pon can also add her experience here.

I have used Nuk breast pump and i feel it is good......
we can store the milk in the bottle itself for 12-20 hrs.....

 

Ramya, does AVent come with a tube in it... How do you manage to clean the tube..

Is cleaning a tube necessary with Medela swing or Avent.. Moms please pour in your thoughts...

Vidyaa - I do not see a tube. It is just the valve which is removable. And I sterilize it.

 

hey all

when i sterilise the parts of the pump, they turn white (salt deposits) .... what do i do?

 

In which water do you do Ramya?
Use the drinking water, not the tap water(bore/well/metro). If you wash them and sterilise them with the drinking water, you wont get such deposits.

 

ramya, i am going for the isis uno ... and planning to order it online via shoppers stop. how much did u pay for it though?
