    Amla also known as gooseberry has a lot of health benefits. I love amla supari, amla murabba and even nibbling on raw amla with salt.

    can make amla raita / thayir pachadi using pickled amlas (salted), amla jam, amla is just good to eat as it is. But can have salt if you have to get used to the taste because after you eat it leaves a sweet feeling in toungue for a long time (a sweet sensation).

    Hi,
    My first thing in the morning is eating amla powder ( mixed with water) or soaked dry amla.
    It instantly reduces the body heat and induces good digestion. We can go on talking about AMLA for hours.
    The vitamin C content in Amla never loses its strength, eventhough the form of amla is changed like powder,dry amla or salted or sweetened.
