Hi friends, This happened to my cousin. She read in some book that if we apply certain green leave's paste in face bangcomp: i dont remember the leaves name) it will improve the complexion of the skin. She persuaded my mom to get it from the near by market. After a long search my mom got it.My cousin was so happy athat at once she went to the ammi( stone chakki) to grind it.She applied it in her face and she also applied in on my sister who was a small sulan(kid) then. After 2 to 3 mins My sis had started complaining to my Mom that her face was burning. My cousin just sussed her saying that it may be because some reaction and asked my sis to keep quiet.Afer some time my sis started to cry and started gathering crowd.even my cousin was having a bad time with that paste on her face. Then finally my mom started investigating after washing my sis's face.Actually what had happened is our maid had grained chilly paste in the ammi just before my sis had grained that leaf paste. And my very exicted cousin had not even washed the ammi properly.Thats why all this happened.U all should have seen my cousin and little sis face.Really gud complexion!!!! he he he  ... was red for that day. Dear Huma, For a strong hair with better texture, its good to apply coconut milk and leave it for 30 min to a max of 1 hr based on ur body's nature and climatic conditions.. When i first tried this, i didnt properly strain the milk as i thought it would be good even if the small gratings or say (thippi) stays on the root for a while..but then i couldnt simply let them go, as they stick with the root... From the next time i just used to strain them and apply only the extracted milk.. It turned out to be a great beauty tip also helps in cooling our body.. Regards,
HI Maha, can we use the coconut milk from cans or i need the fresh one... plse tell me so that i will try. harini
Dear Huma, Thanx fr ur experience, i also read something like this and was about to try this week.. HArini
Huma: What a coincidence. Looks like we both tried it around the sametime. I also did the samething last week and it took me 2 days, 3 to washes to get the banana off I wish I had waited one more week to read your post
Dear Hariniuma, I have not yet tried with canned coconut milk for my hair and i personally dont trust preserved products when compared to fresh ones... Especially when it comes to face and hair its better to use fresh home made ones, so that we can enjoy the benefit without any regrets...Though i use ready made coconut powder and milk for cooking, there is certainly a diff. between them and the fresh ones.. Your hair and your mind will be fresh with the refreshing flavour of homely made (strained )coconut milk...What do u say ?.. Just half coconut will do even for long hair...Make sure its thick milk, else coconut milk abishekam will take place all over the face...kindly let me know ur comments..
Hi maha, Guess yr opinion is rite . an you plse tell how should i extract the milk, should i gring the coconut pieces and tr or how?? bye / harini
Hi Hariniuma, Using a knife just cut the coconut into small pieces of 1" or 2" and grind them with some water...or u can grate them and them grind them, but its a time consuming process...i used to do the former..
