Bathroom Slippers, Yay Or Nay?

2B- or not 2B-slippers. That is the question. The mention of Hawaii slippers with blue straps brought to mind those blessed Bata (2B) - slippers with blue and occasionally pink (for a change) straps, but no, we never used it to go to the B - room. Our house was an old construction with a passage with a separate entrance between the B-Room, toilet and the kitchen. So the ritual involved going to the B-Room on emerging from the toilet, wash feet there, wipe feet well on the door mat kept outside, then before stepping into the kitchen, there would be a second mat to wipe the feet on. So it was the 2 mat routine instead of the 2B slippers.
