Hi Friends, I am working in a Software concern. I am planning to shift my career to Banking jobs. I am not aware of Banking exams and the procedure to apply for banking jobs Can anyone please tell me how to apply for Banking exams? From where I can find more details about Banking exams? Any book materials to prepare for the exam? Also tell me the procedure to apply for the banking jobs

Hi Gayathri, Most nationalized banks advertise for jobs in the newspaper. The application is usually filled up online and we need to send a copy of application with credentials and DD to the head office or address specified in the advertisement. Based on the position applied for, you would need to write exam or just go directly for interviews. You can try to google out the Bank´s website.....for the nationalized banks and check the careers or recruitment section. You can apply for specialist officer job, related to your area of expertise. hi gayathri, If your preference is getting into nationalized banks, then its a big procedure. First starts with the application,then exams and then recruitments.Also you should keep in mind your age, as many banks specify the age limit upto which you qualify for each post. I can suggest something else, you can get into some private banks by looking into the vacancies,if any. Anyways people with experience will have priority over you and since yours would be a change of career, you will have to start from the entry level and the salary would not be as you expected. Keep these things in mind and think before you take the big step.Its better to improve your current profession by updating the latest rather than switching to a different track which will take time to get hold on.
