I wish to study Data Science. However, I must do 3 hours of physical therapy each morning due to weak joints (luckily I can meditate for 2 of those 3 hours). How does one find time to study? If I do Physical Therapy/Meditation in morning, that is taken care of for the day, but I don't have time for study. If I study in the morning, that is taken care of for the day, but then I don't have time for therapy. Any advice for a Sister?
Hi, What's your schedule OP? I am also doing physical therapy everyday for my knee joints. I have been going PT for past 6 months. I am doing it for 30 to 45 minutes max. Usually I will do it within 30 minutes. PT will not take much time. My first PT gave me exercises for one hour. My second PT said, the exercises should not be so long. You should be able to finish within 20 to 30 minutes. It's very effective. I would say you can adjust your wake up time and do your meditation and therapy. By the way, what therapy are you doing? What are those exercises?
I have weak knees that came out of joints when I was child. I do half hour bike and 20 minute weight bearing leg exercises daily. Plus family has history of heart disease. Doctor says walk 10k steps daily. Walking 10k steps takes about two hours. I walk in my room and chant "on" during that time. This is only way I can fit meditation and try to be mindful. I wake up 6:30am to get ready for telework , starts at 8am. Trying to sleep and wake earlier.
Walking 10k steps inside the house is really good. It's difficult to do 10k steps indoors. I am also doing exercises for my knee joints as I have subluxation issue. Knee joint moved a little. You are doing a good job on the exercises and the meditation. If the time doesn't suit, you can split the exercises routine. Do half of it in the morning before work and the remaining after work.
