    Dear Aparna,

Both are spiritual temple. It is worthy visiting both the temples. Badrinath and Kedarnath are Shivan and Vishnu temples. Both of magnicient temples.

Recently my uncle went for a North India tour where mainly visiting this places. He is abt 57+. The Group was within more on relatives - a group of 10 persons. He said he enjoyed the trip very much.

As i can recall he said had to take a lot of things. such as raincoats, biscuits, walking stick.. (i will revert to you on this as need to get details from him if you are interested) they took horse to reach the shivan hill temple.

    Shanti

    Dear Aparna,

Kedarnath is the high mountain hill shivan temple where ice glaze are occuring at this season. The temple might be closed coz of the ice drops..and its not that safe to go there now. But if you gals are still interested please check with the travel agencies over there.

Badrinath is low ground temple where you can see Lord Vishnu with Lord Kubera and Mahalashmi together in one pose. It would be safer if you could go to Badrinath first.

It is better to wear thick clothings, strong shoes to cover cold, bring umbrella or raincoats. The price - its altogether with the tickets fares for food and transport, so from Malaysia here to there was about RM8000.00 plus per person. (Estimation only):hide:

I will try to send the list of things needed which they took along soon.

    Shanti
