School bags sometimes seem to smell so much .Here is how to avoid.
1.Empty the bag and turn it upside down over an open newspaper to get rid of lurking debris.
2.Remove visible dirt from the inside with a dry brush or vacuum.
3.Wipe all over with a sponge moistened with dish detergent.Give a final wipe with a damp ,sponge and air dry.
4.Do not soak it in water.
    5.Canvas can be washed weekly.
    6.Store in a dry place.
7.If the zipper gets stuck run a piece of soap on the candle for smooth running.
8.Make sure your child unloads food ,napkins as soon as they get home.Set aside one day a week when they to empty the bag before repacking.

kanaka, great idea. We can put little baking soda and dust it too. Then the smell goes away. Now we get Mr. Clean Sponge in US and it is so good clean all bags, shoes etc. do you get hem too over there?

    Take care.

Washing the school bag weekly keeps away the odors. You can also turn the bag inside out and dry it in the sun to get rid of the odours.
