<!--maxlength:1156-->Ras Al Khaimah: The National Media Council on Sunday withdrew the recently-released Bollywood movie, God Tussi Great Ho, from UAE cinemas saying it violated Islamic teachings.
God Tussi Great Ho is the story of Arun Prajapati (Salman Khan) who loses his balance in life, his job, his girl (Priyanka Chopra) and for all his losses, he blames "god".

With all his bickering, "god" decides to meet Arun face to face. He endows Arun with all of his divine powers, challenges Arun to take on the big job and see if he can do it any better.

Cinemas received orders from the council to stop showing the movie, which also stars actors Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra, with immediate effect. <HR>

A senior official at the council said cinema-goers had submitted scores of complaints regarding the content of the film.
The UAE authorities decided to stop the screening of the film to protect religious norms in UAE society. Those who saw the movie told the authorities they were shocked to find that Bachchan played the role of "god".
