    A pregnant lady can include foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids such as salmon, sardines coming under seafood. This omega -3 fatty acid will be converted to DHA which is required for your baby's brain development. Fishes that contain high amounts of mercury should be avoided. Eggs contain choline and omega 3 fatty acids required for foetal brain development can be taken.Dairy products like milk, yoghurt, buttermilk, cheese, cottage cheese etc can be included . Fruits,Nuts and dried fruits rich in vitamin b, omega 3 fatty acids, protein etc can be taken. Cereals that contain folic acid, iron and choline is required to protect the baby from having neural tube defects.
