I was looking for things we need to get for baby's arrival.

Can anyone please tell which is good store to get reasonable baby car seat and other stuff.

please anyone who have experience share your suggestions.

Vibha, we bought the Chicco Keyfit 30. The other option is the Graco. These are available in almost all the baby needs carrying places like Babies r us, Walmart etc.

rakhii is right.You can also get it from Amazon.com.You dont need to pay tax if you do it through amazon and prices seem to be little less though..Iam planning for amazon since taxes are high in my city

you should also check if it is available in the list of things which are tax free on the "tax free weekend" in your state. Think it comes in August, each state have their own tax free weekends. Just make sure the carseat you are buying is not in the recall list. Most of the other things you can get at Babies rus or Walmart/target. Burlington coat factory also has a kids section.

Don't buy too many clothes...that is a common mistake as you don't know what size the baby will come out and they change sizes pretty quickly. You also have the season changes in USA that affect clothing needs. Keep a cash account and add clothes as needed. Also friends usually gift the small sizes and you will need to buy as the baby gets larger.

congratulations on the baby,
for the carseat keep an eye out for deals.
Some stores offer special discounts so u can buy during that time.
i found that biglots has carseats on sale too.
And for clothes and stuff just buy and keep a basic set one of each like towel,blanket , onsie, full shirt n pant and a special dress for photos.
