    Hi Ladies,

We welcomed our beautiful lil girl a week ago, our second and the LC hinted I start pumping if I plan to get back to work. I am currently breastfeeding and it’s working fine so far.

With my elder, we had tons of issues - latch issues, nipple confused with bottles, tongue tie. She just did not remain on breast and I ended up pumping for almost 10months- I gave up at some point for my sanity. I was a stay at home mom and still couldn’t manage to keep up with the demands of pumping/ childcare responsibilities/household chores.

Fast forward today - We hired full time help and hoping to keep the nanny atleast until the baby is a year old. I am returning to work after 12weeks of leave. I am anxious about introducing bottle to baby this early after all the issues last time.

My goal is be able to breastfeed for a year ( with giving pumped milk when I am on calls - I work from home and get lactation breaks until baby is a year old as per company policy).

I would love to hear from fellow moms on how they managed the feeding plan for baby once they were back to work. Hoping to find some ways to make this work without driving myself mad. I know fed is best, I really do like breastfeeding and this is the first time I get to experience it. A part of me is worried about messing it all up.

    Thanks for your thoughts!
