    Hi Darshanam2012,

just wanted to let you knw that i did not intend to post this as funny!! i do yoga..yoga, and better diet together has helped me with my general fitness..and even stress..
i dnt knw if you read any of my post..over the last 4 years, i had 4 miscarriages.. i ve undergone lots of tests...been to Emergency Room bleeding heavily..had 1 ectopic pregnancy..had a D &C...none o this was pretty...
anyone going thru infertility issues wud automatically understand my tgt processes...wat i'm going thru..how desperate we are...to ensure that i shud do everything possible from my side to have a baby...

its in this context that i was asking if anyone tried the particular yoga routine... its not like i expect some miracle...neither am i a fan of baba ramdev..i dont even understand hindi..

pt being.. the least i expect is indifference...if not compassion...

    thanks!!

Relax Jaya. Sorry about your bigger struggle!
Some Yoga aren't bad. But we have to be cautious over the exercises around tummy in 2WW. I never saw Baby Ramdev's yoga, not interested too. Our regular works itself will give good workout to our body. If we aren't doing any workouts, its necessary to do some & keep the body active!

    hey ladies,

really sorry abt the outburst!! esp, darshanam...i dont knw if u 'l believe it.... i m always always cool...i even ve handled my relatives with calm :) ...but, somehow..i joined IL with high hopes..in my mind, it was a forum where ppl going thru same stuff converge!

anyways...honestly, i was not asking if the particular yoga wud help cure infertility... if it did, then, he wud ve been given nobel prize..lol.. no..all i wanted to knw was if someone actually tried it...and if it helped them in any way..pbbly to be calmer etc..

and abt my case.. its in the "unexplained" category... i live in houston..and i see a very gifted specialist.. according to him..i'm the healthiest patient on paper :)...i m not overweight..well under BMI..but not underweight too.. have no notable symptoms...have not even got a cold for a long time (touchwood)..all hormonal tests came out okay..ovulation is like a clock... as far as docs see, all the follicle counts, etc are great..husband's sperm has no issue... they did karyotype to find if there s a chromosomal abnormality- did not find any thing.. no history in family..
they did all kind of tests...
they ve done two hysteroscopy to find if ter s a chance of endometriosis... again, things looked perfect...

but, fact is things are not.. there is something wrong! docs now assume that it can be some kind of unnamed autoimmune disorder..or there is the rare chance that there is a chromosomal abnormality (though according to doc, its rare since karyotype s normal..and well.. i m not really old..though in india, 31 wud b considered old..i guess)

so..i ve to try getting pregnant with ivf (for ensuring higher quality eggs/whatever since doing it ourselves has not exactly been a success)..with anticoagulants... and if i really ve the money- i can try one with PGD-pre genetic diagnosis..so that any risks of chromosomal abnormality is also covered..

i m looking at options in US and in india... have to make a decision soon..here, cost is a factor...i can manage 1 ivf...but, naturally, at this point, i ve to consider the case of a failed cycle.. i m confused..

    tats it abt me..

i am an mba..before that i did my engineering..worked in IT for quiet a few yrs as biz analyst.. now with hubby in US..due to multiple reasons, i wanted to wfh..so, i'm doing some online work for an indian advertising company..mostly research and stuff..

    tats it from me..

thank u ladies for ur support,

and apologies if i did hurt anyone!

    Jaya

    Hi Jaya,
Check the IVF thread where there was some discussion on unexplained infertility. After a fresh IVF and a frozen cycle, doc could say the same word 'unexplained', better try it again to us. Due to many factors we couldn't try again & waiting for miracle to happen. By knowing the reason for failures, we can manage to handle them; without, its tough. May be we can think that our time haven't arrive yet, when it come, the baby will come trouble free! So, try not to stress yourself; let the body feel the goodness till then! Try to relax & be happy for the things you have got!
It will happen! Trust yourself, your body!
    All the best!

Yes it worked for me ! I have posted my experience in another thread. The breathing exercise and the yoga postures by baba Ramdev helped address thyroid , harmonal problems , which in turn helped ovulation process.
Mentallly I felt stress free , positive and physically full of energy.

    Hi Bhavatarini,

Thank you for the +ve response. As like Jaya, I'm also practicing yoga asanas daily for almost 6 mts irregularly though. I could not do praanaayam as I'm suffering from cold sinusitis (chronic). So I'm sticking only to yoga aasanas.. I mainly do 11 times of Sun salutations on regular basis. Even after months of trying, I could not do Halaasana... Can you tell me what is your yoga schedule? How did you follow your diet to get over your problems?

    Hi Jaya

I heard from several people that yoga aasanas help a lot. Especially breathing excercises (Praanaayam) helps a lot for the people with harmonal imbalance. It only take less than 10 min to do praanaayms and another 10-15 min for doing all yoga aasanas. Especially when we are in 2ww period, some yoga aasanas are safer than going to gym.

    My question is

    - I heard walking is best excercise. I usually walk around treadmill daily at 3.0 for 40 min. And then do some elliptical. I heard from several sites that doing treadmill is not good when we are in 2ww. Please post some responses on how rigorous you do the exercise.

Do you prefer treadmill or elliptical?

    Thanks
    Jyothsna
