Ayurvedic Home Medicines

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to ask about coughing in kid. My son is coughing alot and I tried giving many medicine and antibiotic as per doctor mentioned. But it's still not improving. Could any one just tell me any herbal way to cure 6 years old child coughing problem?

take 1 spoon of ajwain, 5 raisins, a little ginger, few corns of pepper, if u get tulasi that also, then a little candy sugar...boil it in a cup of water...let it reduce to 1/2...just mash it..strain it and give it with honey and little lemon....a little luke warm...it controls...

if in the middle of the night....just boil little crushed ginger..add lemon juice and honey and give him a little hot...it really helps..............

yes i am also one of the person who went on to ayurvedic medicines for my astrio arthritis treatment.
OK let me tell my experience about this. More than 5 years i took english medicines which is painkiller to ease my knee joint pain and one day the Orthopedic Doctor told me that i have taken a lot of pain killers and may be it may affect my kidneys later on. So he stopped me from taking the pain killer. After that due to my husband's sudden death gave me more pain in my knee joints because of depression and so on. Then my niece recommended me to this ayurvedic treatment and it is now more than one year i am under ayurvedic treatment. I should say i am 70% off from my pain. Those days i cannot even stand for 5 minutes and my legs starts paining. Now i am far better and still under ayurvedic treatment only. The main thing we have to follow is the proper diet, and have to avoid certain vegetables etc as per the ayurvedic doctors and they treated me with oil massage and navarakizhi treatment to give my legs more strength.
So i am here to say Thanks to Ayurvedic Treatment and it is not going to give you immediate relief but it is slow and steady cure .

good to know that ayurveda is helping you. lot of people dont try it because of the kashayams, arishtams, the oils and the diet controls..
