GOA RADIO ORGANISED COMPETITION FOR POEMS, IN WHICH THE FIRST LINE MUST BE ROMANTIC, BUT THE SECOND LINE SHOULD BE THE OPPOSITE. This was the winning entry sent by Joao Caitan : My darling, my lover, my beautiful wife,_* Marrying you messed up my life._* I see your face when I am dreaming,_* That's why I always wake up screaming._* Kind, intelligent, loving and hot;_* This describes everything you are not._* I love your smile, your face and your eyes, Damn, I'm good at telling lies!_* My feelings for you, no words can tell,_* Except for maybe 'Go to hell.'_* What inspired this amazing rhyme?_* A bottle of Feni, little Salt n Lime !_* *Award winning poem*
And here's one for the husband In your arms, I find my sweet solace, But your snoring sounds like a walrus. Your smile lights up my darkest days, Yet your morning breath leaves me in a daze. Your hugs warm my heart with affection, But your cooking needs divine intervention. I cherish our moments, our laughter, our fun, Yet your workaholism makes me want to run!
I was looking for Goa Radio contact details to forward the poem posted by @gamma50g. A line of happiness followed by a rider sounding sadness Is like sweet dream in night and Reverie in office A kiss on left cheek and a pinch on right one Our couple in the same office Shown the door . Thanks to @Cheeniya sir for sharing the award winning song . It is like fenni from Goa Farm.
I got into radio goa website and it sent me otp. I sent a message that I have "hapsad" song of my friend and would need their e mail ID. Looking fwd to their response. This reminds me of my plight in Dona Paula Beach in Goa in 1970s. I was a guest in institute of oceanography for two days. That was the first time I tasted the Fenni and sipped from a chilled glass tumbler. Entire day, I had splitting head-ache and I vowed never to touch ever this Fenni which in Goa considered as Ladies' Drink.!
That headache is nothing unusual if you touch anything that is essentially the prerogative of ladies!
In toto I agree. My spouse often reminds me that I remain for ever her prerogative! About TOUCH need I say anything or quip?
