    Autism is on the rise as per recent study .... It is alarming!! Here is an article from WebMD Autism Jumps 57% in Just 4 Years

    In US autism kids are recognized as a special needs children and the government is putting efforts to help them. How about in India? Do you see autism on the rise? What is done to special needs children? Finally why is it on the rise? Some people say it is because of the current generation's late marriages and postponing having children till early/late 30's! Your thoughts?

    Knowledge about this problem in India is very less. Don't ask about the condition in villages. More awareness need to be created on this. Many don't know it is a health problem which will affect the child's future and there are specially trained people to help the parents. Last but not the least, the services should be affordable.
