    I second that...Bisibela would be a great addition to the menu...:goodidea: Papad and 15 chapatis is also good. Thanks Manju!:)

    Happy Friday Ladies,

    The party plans seem to be rolling really nicely :rotfl. All that talk of mouth-watering dishes has already given me a big appetite!! :) can't wait!

    A couple of logistics:

    1. No.(s) in our party: 1 (only me). kids have a conflict with a Halloween Party that dad will take them to.

    2. Dishes - Based on what has already been proposed, here are some suggestions that I can bring to the table!:

    - a heavy appetizer
    - a non-vegetarian dish (main course) - assuming that's ok?
    - a veg. main course- e.g., dahi-allo, peas-mushroom etc.

    Your thoughts are welcome.

    Varsha - You had sent a thread welcoming me sometime back. Thanks! Happy to know that you are in Dunwoody as well. We live off Mt. Vernon Road. About 1-1.5 miles from the Dunwoody Village. Lets connect some time if you are not able to make it to the fun next week.

    Hi Ladies,

    I spoke to Varsha this morning and unfortunately she has a conflicting office meeting at that time, which she cannot escape from (we'll miss you Varsha!!!:cry:)...maybe some of us can catch up later again separately...

    So this makes our latest numbers as:-

    Hema - 2
    Nivedi - 2
    Karthika - 1 definitely + 1 (might be)
    Nidhi - 1
    Manju - 1
    Raji - will confirm in a couple of days about whether she can make it
    Aarushi - 2

    Nidhi: I've send you a PM. Check yr mail. An appetizer sounds good. Non-veg - I think some people might be vegetarians, so they won't be able to share. A veg dish would be good.

    Here's the latest food list:-

    Hema - Veg dish (chole maybe)
    Nivedi - Coconut rice, raita
    Karthika - ??
    Nidhi - ??
    Manju - Chapatis, Papad, Bisibela
    Aarushi - Shahi Paneer, chocolate Cake/Tiramisu

    Drinks: Soft drinks and white wine will be there...
