astrologer suggested to wear armlet

    an astrologer has suggested me to wear an amulet and rudraksh in red thread on arm. when i asked, can't i wear it around neck? he said , it wud be better to wear on left arm. my primary concern is that won't it look awkward as i mostly like to wear sleeveless or short sleeve dresses. does amulets or rudraksh really works? my mom says i shud wear it. commnt.
