    Dear Shivaranjani,
    Use the ulundu vadai mavu. Add coarsely crushed pepper & jeera + coconut pieces & roll & drop into oil to deep fry.

    Dear S,
    I have not given so far, but will, shortly. I have given idli manchurian. Till I post, you can mince lightly cooked vegs, form balls & proceed as given in that recipe.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Chithumma, My dear Adharsha Mangai,

    Two recipes;

    -a variety of bonda, crispy and soft inside made up of besan flour

    -heard about using 'vendaikkai kambus' , I think instead of urid dhal,when grinding dosa batter. Do you have any idea about the proportion of ingredients?

    Love,
    Your Picturesque.

    Dear Ms Picturesque,
    I am not able to identify the first query! :-(
    The second - I have tried for dosai. I just added 1/3 the volume of rice, in the grinder & it came out well! But why bother to use it when we have the protein rich urad dhal? I feel it is more for "academic interest" or for economy's sake!!
    Love,
    Chithu.
