    Dear Chithra mami,

I was going thru your thread of pachadis & salads and cam across kabuli channa salad. The ingredient Annardhana (pomegranate seeds) is it a dry one? (as you have asked us to fry & powder the same) Where do I get the same? I was under the impression annardhana is the seeds we find inside the fruit which we eat. Kindly clear my doubts.

    Dear Lalitha,
Yes, it is the seeds of pomegranate. Normally they are available in North Indian grocery shops in dry form. If not, omit it.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear mami,

    Thanx for the prompt response.

In some of your salads, i saw you had used cheese/paneer. First of all I am on the thicker side and my family also does not relish eating these. Can I omit the same? If so what can be substituted?

    Dear Lalitha,
    Yes, you can omit cheese.
I make paneer for salads at home after removing malai & that too from toned milk. Then it is lighter & suitable for dieters as well. There is no harm in omitting also.
    Love,
    Chithra.
