    Doubts on batura

    Dear Mrs.C,
I have yellow corn flour with me.Does it have to be fresh because mine is a few months old.
Secondly in the first method you have given ,is 1/2 cup of curd enough to make dough with 3 cups of flour? Please clarify.

    Love
    Suba

    Hello Suba !

If the flour is refigerated & is good, you can use it. Since it involves deepfrying, I think you can use it.
Bread combined with curds makes a loose mixture ! Still if it is not sufficient, add little water.
    Love & regards,
    Chithra.

    Thanks .

Thank you very much Chithra, Vandana & Ami for replying.

One more doubt Chithra, regarding Bayleaf. Is there any health benefit in using it ? Any podi or chutney / thogayal we can make with it , other than just for aroma purpose in biryanis ?
