Hi Friends, People are made with different bio clocks... Some can wake up before the early morning cock ...meditate,exercise,work,finish pending jobs, cook do what not.. and others cannot wake up even by 8.am even to save their lives...:rotfl some can sit all thro the night and produce masterpieces of art or study for the exam or just browse IL... and show no signs of fatigue next day... I am a thoroughbred nocturne and so is my son...we enjoy sitting till 1 am and read a book, write, blog chat etc... whereas we feel getting up on Diwali morning is also an ordeal... So what are you? Early bird? or Night hawk ???
Dear Shakambari Nice post. I am an early bird. If any function is there next day I dont get sleep the previous night.I also like to read, write blogs, chat etc. Now here I am the first one to post the feedback. I like to be the first in everything. love viji
Dear Viji, So nice to see ur fb-the first one, that too... Early morning rising is quite difficult for me... But of course, life has finetuned me to get up even at 3.30 just with mu mental alarm clock. But any imp.work which involves thinking and planning I need the peace and unninterupted quietof night-no door bells,no visitors ,no mobile or landline ringtones... Great for me...Nothing like nighttimes... I feel I can work with double efficiency during nights... During my college days-studying was allthro night-wake up at 8-gobble up breakfast-rush to college at 9. (College was 10 mins away-lucky me!) and came out in flying colors,no doubt:thumbsup I was so happy not to have an early muhurtham... (what if I had dozed off while dh ties the thali???:rotfl)
Dear Shakambari I used to get up at 5.30 a.m. when I was working and finish the cooking and everything and leave for office by 7.30 a.m. I had been working for 38 yrs. Now since only me and husband are there get up only after 6 a.m though I am awake by 5.45 a.m. I go to sleep only at 11.30 p.m. as after that only I get sleep. But when necessary I can get up early. Before marriage also by 6 a.m. we had to get up . My grandmother used to say girls should not sleep after 6 a.m. Glad to know that you came in flying colours. Congrats. love viji
hi shakambari, same pinch...me too a nocturnal bird.........can sit awake the whole night if necessary but love that morning sleep .....but of course get to enjoy it only in the weekends.. and you know what, the only thing i do not like about diwali is getting up early hahaha:cheers
Hello Viji, You know something- My regular sleep time is well after midnight... (no need for night watchman in our area :idea) But somehow I manage to get up by 6-6.15... Then (vaa maa minnal...speed than:rotfl) boil milk and cook rice and dal in the gas while veg will be cooking in the mw... always keep veg cu the prev. evening - so samayal ready by 7.15. Lunch boxes packed and sent off ... night 12 -12.30 is my real me time... Dh has given up on me:rotfl My grandpa was such a sweet pamperer that he used to pull curtains to prevent sunlight from entering the room when I slept at 8 am- much to the chagrin of grandma and amma! But- age responsibilities and other issues has robbed my morning sleep.well ,sometimes I wish I could sleep ...and sleep...sometimes I feel the luckiest man is the one who could sleep effortlessly...
