Hi, these are basically used by Karnataka people. Here in Chennai, you get these things made from many caterers. But achu, I doubt. You can try in Triplicane area, there are many Madhvas living in that area and you may get. I shall ask around, in the meantime.
Hi, I know they are available at B'lore. In Chennai, I think you can try asking in Triplicane, as Varloo suggests. I have asked my Athai to get me one mould from B'lore when she comes over next . Actually, it is more famous in places like Dhavangre, Banashankari than Banglore! Do let me know when you find one in Chennai. Cheers Arch
Pardon my ignorance...May i know how you make use of this ??? Is it a decorative piece or edible item???
I bought these sakkarai achhus in the temple shops around Parthasarathi Temple,Triplicane. I could not spot them in Mylapore. Where are the available in Mylapore?
