Are These Latkan (tassles) Washable

to attach to a skirt I am re-viving (How Do I Add Tassels To An Everyday Skirt)

After skirt is complete, I only plan to hand-wash.

Do I need to attach tassels with a jump ring, so it can be removed?

Or can tassels be permantly sewed on, i.e. they will get wet when I hand-wash

I’m not sure they are washable but they can certainly handle being wet. So long as you gently hand wash they should be fine. Vigorous washing of any sort, hand or machine, will ruin them.
