Are men scared of smarter women??

    i would say 'yes' to an extent. many men certainly feel threatened by the thought that their wife is better than them. especially at jobs percieved by men/society as 'theirs'...as in fixing stuff - broken/electical or otherwise or managing money and investing smartly and all that, then they do feel threatened.

    that is when all the minor problems are blown out of proportion. like wife not making lunch/not keeping the house 'clean' etc. in the hope of proving to oneself that she is not all that better.

    well in a true marriage, if everything is shared, men have nothing to worry. the problem starts if women abuse their dominant personality and start dominating and not sharing .. well i have to add a disclaimer here, all smart women are not dominating. only a few do

    I agree to the first part of your post that in a marriage sharing is a big thing.
    But i dont agree to the second half... are all smart women Dominating??

    Yaa Anusha you are right.I think yes thats a misconception that smarter women are dominating.
    I will give classic example of my MIL who i think is way smarter than my FIL.My FIL is short tempered and dominating and my MIL is just the opposite...but even though she's quite and She never arguments with my FIL...but still she has her ways of getting things done.And i appreciate it sooo much. Isnt that quality a part of smartness in Women??

    Men are not scared of smarter women , they just don't want to marry one!
    If they married one then they would be scared!

    They could also be jealous of smarter women but will not admit it.
