Are fruit juices good?

    They say fresh fruits with pulp are better than fruit juices as they remove the pulp and add loads of sugar which is bad for health.

    Fruits r better than juices to have In the morning.even doctors prefer only fruits to have it with pulp

    BF should be a good meal. Shouldn't reduce BF.Be light on dinner but not on BF.

    complete fruit juices are not a balanced meal.

    I don't think juice can be a substitute for breakfast...It can only be a supplement...Also I think it's better to have fresh fruits or fresh fruit juice as processed / packaged juices have high sugar content and chemicals like preservatives...

    wow everything said the same.. s fresh fruit has to be eaten.. fruit juices can be taken very occassionally to rarely... due to high content of sugar and loss of fibre

    An absolute and a big NO!! Fruit juices any time of the day are just plain bad...no two ways about it....Eat fruits anytime in the morning but not as a substitute for breakfast...as a snack yes..If you eat correctly you would be eating less with just 3 meals and you want to skip a meal totally? Eat 200-300 calories in one sitting atleast 4-5 times a day and you will not even think of skipping a meal...you need carbs esp in the mornings and afternoons to sustain you....
    although if you want to have juices still try vegetable juices once or twice a week(with less of sugary veggies like carrots, beets etc) an hour before breakfast but no skipping breakfast!!

    As everyone said, fruit juice only cannot be a breakfast.
    But if you want to have breakfast in the form of liquid, try to prepare it like a smoothie without sugar and don't strain it.

    Consuming the whole fruit is definitely better than drinking its juice only. The fibre in the whole fruit will help you in lot many ways.
