Dear Thyagarajan,

As you may or may not know, I have been keeping a secret from you. It’s not been easy – it’s always nice to be able to share good news – but my publishers insisted.

I am very pleased to now be able to tell you that my new novel, Circle of Days, will be published by Hachette in the UK and US on 23rd September 2025 and in other countries on the same day or very soon afterwards. Circle of Daysis a standalone historical novel about one of the most iconic monuments in the world – Stonehenge. How was it built? Why was it built? Who built it? There have been many theories put forward over the years, but if you want to know mine, you’ll just have to read the book.

A real story from my archive.
A well-educated scientist..

He was traveling in his car…
The tire got punctured on the way..There is no shop.. the shop is atleast a kilometer away..As no one came, he started changing the tire himself.. After removing all the bolts, Stepney tripped and fell down.

The bolts in his hand fell into a puddle..He was thinking what to do now..
Then a passerby with torn clothes came that way..
The passer-by looked at him and said, "Sir, what is the matter?" The scientist who thought what was going to happen said to him, you can go.. he said.

Why did that passerby leave.. The scientist then had an idea..
If you leave him in this ditch, no one will get down, so he thought that he could ask him to get down and said to him, I will give him any amount of money, take my bolt that fell in that puddle..

O.. is this your problem..? ..
I have no objection to go down in that puddle and fetch it..
But there is an easier way.
He told me to remove one bolt from each of the three wheels and fasten this wheel and buy 4 bolts from the nearest mechanic shop and fasten them to all the wheels.

Even though he is such a great scientist, we still don't know this easy way..
For mistakenly thinking that he has no brain
He bowed his head in shame..

A tree can produce thousands of matches.
By the same match
Thousands of trees can be destroyed.
Times and circumstances can always change
So don't go by appearances.
