Anyone who came with 3 year Indian degree and completed BS here?

    Is there anyone who came with a 3 year Indian degree and did a BS here in US? I'd like to get some information regarding the same. The person did credit evaluation and got a 90 credits US equivalent. But was advised to get some credits from a community college and then transfer to a state university. More information from someone who underwent the same process will be helpful. TIA!
