Anyone starting weight loss this month

    Hi IL's,
    I am 27 years old and weighing 145 lbs.
    I want to reduce to 125 by dec 31st.
    So anyone who wants to join me , can share their daily food intake and exercise routine.
    It will keep us all motivated.
    I ll be starting with 30 mins walk from tomorrow.:thumbsup

    Hello Sheshupriya,

    I am new to IL and was just looking in here for some motivation. I am glad even, you will be starting weightloss program from tomorrow. I am also 27 years old and weighing 135 pounds. I would like to go down to 115 pounds (Our goal is losing 25 pounds by Dec). I might go to India in January and it would be good to surprise my family. I will be thankful, if you can share your planned daily schedule for weightloss with me. I am planning to do Yoga for 30mins-40mins every morning and I try to eat Oats (instead of rice) most of the time. Please let me know, what you think.

    Thanks for joining here, I am planning to do walk diet by leslie sansone for 30 mins, and follow the advice of Shivachoubey, from whom i am inspired.
    I am planning to replace white rice with brown rice.
    I too will try to include oats in my diet.

    Keep posted with your daily intake and exercise.

    I am more in maitanence mode now and in inch loss. My wieght is ok, but got to reduce my tummy:(

    Dear Sheshupriya,
    thre quite a few threads on this forum on weight loss and Amihere has suggested a few as well join us on the weightloss buddy thread a lot of IL's have lost weight in this thread.
    By Dec you say you want to lose 20LB thats around 10kg if i am not wrong, so every month you want to lose basically 3kg.
    First losing 3kg a month is a bit too much lose it in a healthy way like losing 1 to 2 kg in a month looking after what you eat and exercising, walking it self will not help doing some body work outs like ab's and toning your hands and legs you will loose weight.
    have a look at the weightloss buddy thread and see what the ladies are doing.

    Dear Ami,
    the tummy takes time to go even for me the lower tummy is taking time. i had started running every sundays and stopped due to weddings and then the cold and then laziness but the running really helped me, it was working out my entire body.
    i used to jog not run 10kms.
    Also when working out do more ab's and strengthen the ab muscles.
