Anyone preparing for SBI PO/IBPS Spealist Officer??

Shinara, i have applied for SBI PO... have not started the preparation yet...

to prepare bank exams... first get the grip on current affairs , bank rates means repo rate, reverse repo etc about economy , basics in maths , arithmatic, reasoining, english, etc ... and related subjet for specialist offcrs... fist u must buy previous practice papers abot exam ... if any possible to go to coaching u can join ok.

first u should know that collecting material is waste of time.
just go to book stall and take best material about sbi exams,
and must practice.... practice... practice..... daily enough,
and daily update ur current affairs from last 6months to exam date

Getting books is waste of your time. Instead of that surf on the net for more information.

If anybody is yet to get started, we would do combine study. I have passed in IBPS(RRB) exams, but the place they put is in village(i.e Garmin bank) out of chennai state, so now I m trying in SBI Po.. lets hope.

For General awareness, please buy RS 30 monthly issues previous four months issue. Suppose if the exam is going to be started on May 2013, you should collect JAn, Feb, march, april, and thats enough.

I am ready to provide and guide much information as possible. Combine studying is best and you could remember most of things that is being discussed. Please tell me who are willing to get started.. we would discuss about it

 

General awareness - 1) questions would be asked on dates (Worlds Aids day, anti-terrorism day, like tat) so you could score 1 mark from that.

2) EXpansion would be asked related to banking or others, so you can score 2 marks or 1 mark from that

3)Budget questions would be asked 5 to 10, so you could score marks from that.

4) Prime minister visits (like in 2012, Aung Suki was in news, so the person related news was asked frequently). Like that the questions would asked on Famous person mayb they would be actors, media, literature, or any countries leaders

5) Sports question would be asked ( who won the match, and who retired, so make a note of it

6)IMF, WOrld bank leader, and their headquarters would be asked, so just look a glance of it

7) Repo rate, reverse rate, bank rate, would be asked so prepare on that.

8)A question would be asked on movies related.
