Anyone lost weight by having green tea?

    Im planning to have green tea and looking for some inspiration here. Did anyone lose weight by drinking green tea? Share your views.

    There are many old threads but please share your recent experiences.

    No .......At least i didnt ....Taking from almost a year time

    I tried cinnamon and honey , camomile & spearmint tea, tulsi - ginger- pudina tea , green tea

    Yesteday i met homeopathy doc for my thyroid issue...
    He asked me to have pure green tea (3 cups everyday after each meal)...And surely i will see some change in scale it seems...

    He also suggested me to have only one chaptahi and rest should be veggies and protein...
    Unsure how i can manage with one roti...sometimes with 2 chapathi will feel very hungry in few hours...

    So im planning to include and see wht happens...I was told to avoid cofee...

    You know i feel hungry after having 3 roti( small size) and crab curry yesterday for dinner but i felt full when i had apple and oats shake .....you wont feel hungry if you have more protein and veg ...

    Do this way if say having chickpea , Roti and gravy ....... First finish chickpea , then try to finish your roti gravy more just by having 1 roti ..

    I don't know if i lost because of teas. but i drink a lot of them. they are the best diuretic in my case when i had some renal issues.

    I have hibiscus,mint, thyme, oregano (indian), tulsi, ginger and lemon, lemongrass and ginger (this i have been trying recently when i planted a lemon grass plant., chamomile, orange and vanilla, apple, peach, peppermint, so many varieties along with green tea. each has a benefit.

    they make me feel good. sipping on teas all throughout the day. when i get bored drinking plain water, these teas comes in handy..

    Have proteins, vegges in bigger portions, and one roti. you will not feel hungry. but you can always substitute the roti with a 1 tblsp (uncooked size) of jowar/quinoa..add veggies, sambar, or soups..

    i feel more full when i make ragi koozh or jowar porridge, maybe it could be because of the glycemic index too or because of the fibrous carb as such.

    Ya even when i had kambu koozh (2 glass) for lunch, i didnt feel hungry till 5PM...

    Thanks for the replies.

    Today I tried green tea for the first time and it tasted bad (read bitter). I used 1 cup for 1 tea bag. I suppose I should have used 2 cups of water. I had it without sugar, added drops of lemon.

    I will finish the 20 bags and see if it works.
