Anyone living in Montreal / Quebec ?

I am an Indian lady and am going to move to pointe claire montreal around mid January 2015 from US. And I want to meet and make Indian female friends. Please suggest me some areas or any good apartment buildings where I can find more and more Indians.

And tell me about Dollard area, I can stay there also. Please suggest.

Anyone living in Montreal? Me and my husband moved a week before here. Couldn't find an apartment. Would like to know where most of the Indians live here? Any help here would be appreciated and will be very useful for us. Thanks.

Hi,
We are moving to montreal in a few weeks from now. We have searched for a few apartments and found one in longueuil. We havent decided anything yet. If anyone can provide some inputs regarding that area it would be very helpuful.
The apartment has a skywalk connected to metro and my husband can travel through metro to reach downtown.
But i have heard that there are very few indians out there.

We as a family of three are planning our PR process soon and mighty most probably move to Montreal.
Is French language widely spoken all over Montreal? Specially when it comes to applying for jobs. Please share your experiences as a new expat on how you managed to adjust specially in terms of accommodation near to metro/bs stops indian grocery stores and schooling.
