5.7 appears to be normal and unless it hits 6.5, the physicians in India don't worry whereas the American physicians prescribe Metformin even if it crosses 5.7 slightly. Unfortunately, it can happen based on the diet we take on a particular day. I feel it is better to manage weight through diet control and light exercises even if it is an effect of medication as opposed to taking another medicine for weight management. I do have nerve pain myself but it is in the feet as opposed to neck and jaw but all my nerve tests showed normal. They are now calling it as peripheral neuropathy when I don't have blood sugar. They now say it could be due to my back or even due to B12 shortage. I tried to address them but didn't work and I still don't know what causes the nerve pain, burning sensation and numbness in my foot. Sometimes, I don't feel my feet and if something sharp goes in while walking bear feet at home, I don't even feel it until I see bleeding. I have learned to live with it as sometimes running after a solution for problem like this can be a nuisance.

    Yeah am in US.
I got custom mouth guard made for me- my dentist created teeth mould by making me bite into some jelly type substance for 30 mins, sent the hardened ones to vendor to create the guard. He checked the moulds to make sure I could bite down correctly etc. Cost me $300 about 6-7 years ago, maybe now cost will be $500 I don’t know.

TmJ is lockjaw. Press in the area just in front of your ear, and open close mouth. If you have pain it’s TMJ. Does your jaw lock in place so you can’t close it? Look up some YouTube videos to c what kind of problems the TMJ people have. That will give you an idea.
I agree once your dental records get the label of TMJ or some diagnosis it’s hard to get rid of that label. You will have to be extra smart.
I can’t believe you got a root canal for a perfectly healthy tooth just to ‘try and see’! Especially when they couldn’t find any problems with the tooth! Teeth very often have referred pain. The pain could be coming from elsewhere! Facial area has lot of interconnected nerves so it’s not straightforward as you have realized. I’m not a doc but look up videos for neck pain, TMJ etc. Google your symptoms and look at videos. Spend some time on it. Because TMJ etc are specialist diagnoses t usually some easy steps will be listed to check if indeed you have that problem, before going to the specialist. You can easily check those at home.
Have you tried neck exercises? Cold and hot compresses? Checked your pillow, mattress couch and chair? Do all the due diligence on these and see if you get relief!

I heard about it recently. Qi gong is like yoga and qigong meditation is believed to treat a variety of health conditions, including high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, chronic fatigue, insomnia, and leg and back pain, among others. It helps energy flow through out the body efficiently. If nothing works for you in allopathy then you can try these kind of alternative medicine which has no side effects.
