Do you have the same bloating as in my picture?
I just had TVS 2 weeks ago and reviewed with my gynecologist. My cyst is still the same size and she is very sure that my cyst is not the reason for my stomach symptoms.

    Thanks for sharing here.
I am 38 years old if age that matters. I am glad your aunt is doing well now.

When my symptoms started, I thought the same that my cyst is causing the tummy to be bigger and bloated. As my mother in law had the same. Her belly looked like a huge balloon one day and it turned out her cyst grown big to 10+ cm. Then she had to remove it.

So that's the reason I went immediately to my gynecologist to check if my symptoms are from the cyst. I found this cyst 7 months ago during a full body checkup.

The gynecologist whom I have seen related the vaginal ultrasound 2 weeks ago just to check if cyst had grown. It's the same size still , so she said she is very confident that my symptoms are not from the cyst and asked me to see the primary physician and GI doctor to evaluate further. I didn't get any second gyno opinion.

Then I went to my physician and she did blood and stool tests. He put me on pantaprazole medicine. I also learnt now that if we do stool test after taking those medicines, it might show negative. So I took the medicine for ten days before I did the stool test. So I think it might be false negative too. Saw her yesterday to review the results and they said all test negative especially h pylori. So no ulcer or anything and told me to do gluten free diet for celiac.

I have a nurse friend and I asked her about celiac findings and she told me that value ttg-IgA being 4 doesn't conclude celiac and it has to be above 10. So I don't know if this is a definite diagnosis too.

Don't know what to do next. Just confused and frustrated to be honest.

I had vaginal ultrasound and I hope the cyst if pressing other organs, that should have shown in that ? Not sure if I need anything else to check that.

For your h pylori, did you feel better after taking medicines? Though it's negative, medicine helped you with symptoms?

Oh glad they were able to find out.
My physician did give me an imaging order of CT scan of abdomen in my first visit. Now she told me to keep on hold as she thinks mine is celiac and not gall bladder. told me to do the scan after 2 months if the symptoms still persist.

I think I have to see the gastro doctor to get a definite diagnosis. Because my physician is just telling different diagnosis each time. First they said ulcer and now celiac disease.
Also bloating and my other symptoms just overlap with other things.

I am also diabetic and taking medicines. Didn't know if fall bladder is common with diabetes patients.

Oh I am sorry to hear this. I hope she finds some answers and relief soon.
I know it's hard to have symptoms without knowing the cause and solution.

I am not sure. At least not in my aunt's case.
She had bloating and went to several doctors, including Gyne and of course underwent ultrasound scan also when she was in discomfort. None showed the reason behind except for the fact that she had a cyst in her ovaries, and the diagnoses for her bloating was gas related.

When she fainted after not being able to eat for a while, and had severe vomiting and constipation; hence got admitted in the hospital, they went for other tests, including another scan but this time done by experienced specialist doctors. That's when they discovered how this cyst was pressing her large intestine, which stopped functioning.

My aunt says, when she had bloating and discomfort her intestine was probably functioning but in reduced capacity; hence it wasn't shown in the scan. Or probably, the Gyne wouldn't have paid attention to the digestive track, but only on the reproductive organs. We don't know the reason.
But we knew the intestine was still functioning, because my aunt was having foods that time, and wasn't feeling unwell except this bloating.

When it stopped functioning (I remember she was saying the intestine wasn't moving in the ultrasound; hence they dig further to understand why), it was easy for them to notice and understand the reason behind.

May be it is time for a specialist check up, and ask for reasons. They can't say they don't know. There should be a reason for sure

Thanks for the response. Really appreciate it.
I agree that gynecologist do only check the reproductive organs. My doctor did the same too. I am planning to see the gastroenterology doctor on Monday. I hope they are the specialist for this stomach things. I am going to ask them to see if my cyst is pressing the intestines. Because my 5.5cm cyst is on the fallopian tubes rather than the ovary. So there is a chance it might push the intestines.

I also ask if I need any other scan, because I have had only vaginal ultrasound so far.

My primary physician gave me an order for CT scan of abdomen and pelvis with contrast. But he said to hold on with that until I see the specialist And see what they say. So I didn't do that CT scan yet.

Cutting milk has helped me to some extent. I feel you will have to get 3d pelvic scan because I was told that I have pelvic adhessions and causing bloating due to endometriosis. See if there are any adhesions present there . There are simple home remedies to get rid of cyst like putting castor oil in navel at night for atleast 2 mons . Also kidney, liver and gall bladder health can cause bloating . Even I am not sure which has caused me bloat. I started taking dandelion tea which will help in liver and kidney health.
