    Hello Ladies,

I had my baby this April 2014. I started taking BCP on May 25th, 2014 and I had 2 periods in a month so I stopped my pills in June (I just finished 1 pack). Even, after stopping pills, I'm getting bleeding every other week and lasts for just 2 days (light bleeding to severe bleeding). When I called dr today they said it's 'breakthrough bleeding' and it is caused because I stopped taking pills. The hormones from pills stay in our body for few months seems. They have asked me to monitor my bleeding in Aug month and visit dr in Sep..

    Anyone experienced this?

    Can this bleeding be corrected?

    I got bleeding :
    May 25 - started pills
    June - 5 & 19
    June 21 - pill stopped
    July 10, 20 & 31

    Anitha,
I see you have opened a thread with similar contents in the post pregnancy forum. You do know that multiple threads started by the same thread starter must be merged. Since all your responses are already on the other thread, I'm closing out this one. Please add additional details there. Since the LO Loesterine is a BCP for breast feeding moms you are bound to get more responses there.
