    Hi ladies,
I have succeeded the first time itself :bananaIt is now more than 1 feet. we bought it from a road side shop and kept it in a corner of our garden in Bangalore. Actually speaking the shop keeper gave it as a free plant, when we bought rose and jasmin plants.:tongue:tongue

curry leaf plant doesn't grow very well from the seeds better to select the baby plants that are grown from the roots of main plant.

Is it okay to pour lemon juice in curry plant, does it support the growth or destroy the plan as it is acidic?.

I have the same question for betel leaves plant too??..

Is it good to add lemon juice to these potted plants?

    Hi lmani

I have a few curry trees that are a few years old. I bought them from a nursery. I have not fed them anything other than water and a lot of love!
They do love sunny weather, hence they are thriving here. The pictures are posted on one of the gardening thread.

    Dear AC,

I sometimes use the lemon rind and discard the juice wanted to to know if it is okay to use for the plants than to throw it away. I understand that the juice can be used in various ways , but just was curious to know if it will serve the curry leaves & betel leaves plant..

I have not heard of it either. It just occured to me and wanted to check before doing it.

Thanks for your quick response though!

    -Shilpa.
