I am in Rochester.. Hope you have been able to find someone to spend time with. I am always happy to meet new people. I am an American married to a Keralite. I lived in Chennai for two years, where I earned my masters degree. Maybe you have found the Tamil Sangam.. I see you speak tamil. There is a nice Tamil Sangam here.. and there is a Kannada koota (I think that is the name) as i think you're also from Bangalore. There is a group for almost every Indian sub-sect here- Malayalee Marathi, telugu, Bengali Gujarati, Sikh, etc.
There are two Hindu temples, Sikh temple, mosque, India community center, four Indian groceries and maybe 5-8 Indian restaurants. Most american stores carry Indian stuff too...
