Anyone from Navi Mumbai?

i just joined the Il today..though i have got myself familiar to this site from past 1 month!!! I am from Belapur,Navi Mumbai and i Work in Airoli.. so guess i too fall into this Navi Mumbai category.. i came to belapur aftr my wedding in april and so i still havent formed any friends there... hoping to get more frens through this site...

admission to 9th std for my daughter

Hi Mumbaites,

I am a Mumbaite presently residing at the USA. I stayed at Chembur for over 11 years and at present, I am at the US with my husband who is on a project here. We have a daughter who is in the 8th grade here. I am planning to return to Mumbai for the next academic year and as we will be seeking admission to the 9th std for my daughter, I would like some good advice and suggestions regarding schools preferably CBSE where she can be spared of the language. Please help me in deciding on a good school, she has been studying spanish here, could manage a bit of french too.

I came across two schools in Navi Mumbai with cbse syllabus-DPS public school and Ryan International, are there any Ilites here who send their children to these schools here? Could you please share information with me? You can advise me on any other schools too in this regard.

Both the schools you have mentioned rank high in Navi Mumbai, In a year or two, Dhirubhai Ambani's school is also coming up in Kopar Khairane. There is Father Agnel which is rated as one of the best schools.

Thank you very much for responding. Any idea about the fee structure at Ryan International? I tried calling them and sent an email too, no response till now. That is why I tried asking if any Ilites have kids studyng there at Ryan.

Though I do not take part in the discussions here, I am a regular reader of all yr Mumbai gupshup and other blogs too. Keeps that Mumbai feel alive, you see. Great work Malspie, keep it up.

There is Sr. Mary's and St. Lawrence school too in Vashi.

I am from Koper Khairane, Navi Mumbai.
I feel this place , since the time we came here to stay has come up so well.. and it has become my favourite in Navi Mumbai. I stay at buildig near D-Mart Circle. This place is so happening. I don't have to go anywhere for anything. You say and you have it here.. it's that commertial.
