Hello all, Why have u all stopped writing in this forum...atleast u can write somethings that u find intresting in Mysore..like where u shop,eat and spend time when u are free ... I studied in a school in gokulam...i used to travel from Yadavagiri...i hope most of the Mysoreans know which school i am talking about...Nirmal Higher Secondary School... then studied in Mahajana's ...then from SDM college and then NIE .... I have enjoyed eating "chur muri",special tomato,cucumber and lots of stuffs during my school and college days..i was introduced to Masala puri when i was studying for my bachelor's degree ..there after it has been a crazy thing i have never stopped eating... Even KD Road was an intresting spot to roam around...now shopping has many stops in Mysore..b4 it was Devaraja urs road..now Saraswathi puram has good places like West side, and many others .. Why dont u ladies in this forum share ur reasons for loving and living in Mysore.. Hoping to c many more write ups... Regards Anna
Hello anna, good to know about another person from mysore and you have given good narration of your life in a short and sweet way, coming to myself i studied in savithri convent i ittegegud and jss womens for pu and finished my degree in maharanis, as you told i too like saraswathipuram area very much, as the whole i like mysore very much for its calmness. Hai. :hiya ..i am back I had been to Kochi..my in-laws place ..so cd not keep writing...planning to visit Mysore after a month or so... what's happening in Mysore? any info about something cool happening around there? i have heard it is raining these days.... i usually enjoyed drenching myself in rain when studying in college....it is not like Bangalore... atleast i used to get home drenched from head to toe and not even a kaage wd c Big Laugh .. there were not traffic signal...i am talking about life 8 years ago..in that stretch from SDM to Yadavagiri...now there are around 6 to 7 signal lights .... VV mohalla has developed so much now that there is everything...good joints to eat...but i dont want to miss out on those road side stalls that sells tasty gobi, fried rice and lots of mouth watering dishes... no doubt the new ones are good..like domino's pizza, Pizza corner, etc etc...but definitely not as good as those...i hope most of u agree... Keep posting... collect info from friends and keep us all informed :thumbsup Go on ladies keep posting... i think a little enthu wd make most of the Mysoreans in this forum active.... A big "Hi" to all the IL's from mysore..... I was born and raised in mysore..I spent 25 yrs of memorable years in mysore. I presently live in bangalore. My parents still in mysore. We reside in kuvmepunagar. I completed my masters in physics in manasagangothri. There is no place on earth which is as cool and relaxing as mysore. I just enjoying visiting mysore whenever i find time. The best thing about mysore is that I found my best friend and better half in mysore when i was studying in college. My husband is from Andhra, had come to mysore for studies. I am so thankful to god that he sent him to "Mysore" to pursue his bacherlors and masters. He had not come to mysore, i wud never have been able to meet or marry him.
