    Hi all,

I have been having some serious hair fall and thinning of hair in the front and in the center of my head that my scalp has begun to show. The doc recommended minoxidil 2% but warned me that it has to be used lifelong. Is anybody using it and what is your feedback?

Also is homeopathy good for addressing this type of female pattern hair loss? Can somebody suggest a good homeo doctor?

    Thanks.

If you have not done so already, get your blood work done. Check your thyroid, iron and vitamin D levels. Low thyroid can cause hair loss.
Your doctor is right about the minoxidil. Hair will generally grow while you are applying it, but will fall out and go back to square one if it is stopped.

Yes my relative has used it. And now she has got back most of her hair and scalp is not visible. Earlier she applied everyday. Now may be weekly 2-3 days. Just maintain using it. Don't atop altogether. Go for this. It works.
