    Hi Sapandhana,

    Happy to meet you after a long time. Yes, my mother tongue is Telugu but I am from Chennai & this Andhra Bharathi Singapura is a newly formed Telugu samajam. Currently around 50 families are members of this group. They are organizing lots of activities & functions.

    By the way, how is your juicer? Hope you’re having a refreshing juice everyday to beat this hot weather!

    Hi Anu,

    Glad to hear that u know telugu.Is there any website of this andhra bharathi of singapura.are u also a member of this?plz send me the details,i'll look into it.

    Juicer is doing pretty fine yaar with only only 1or2 days of work in a week,with DH's busy schedule we r not able to do everyday,i myself wont do that work bcoz it has to be carefully handled and suhas(kid) doesnt allow me to focus on that.

    Hi Spandhana & other Telugu Sing'ILites over here,


    Andhra Bharathi Singapura is a newly formed Telugu association. Mrs. Kamala Naidu is the president. Currently, they don't have any website. I joined just recently only. I don't know much about the group. But I know, the Samajam is organizing lot of cultural Programmes. Coming Saturday on 23 August 2008, they are conducting a cultural program in conjunction with Sri Krishna Janamastami at the DBS auditorium from 4.30pm to 10pm.

    As the highlight of this program, various veteran artistes from <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on">India</st1:country-region>, jointly organized by Indian Council for Cultural Relation, Singapore High Commission of India, <st1:placeName w:st="on">Charkula</st1:placeName> <st1:placeName w:st="on">Arts</st1:placeName> <st1:placeType w:st="on">Academy</st1:placeType> (<st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Singapore</st1:place></st1:country-region>), will perform Krishnaleela.

    Sankranthi Restaurantis arranging mouthwatering pickles for very inexpensive rates specially imported from <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">India</st1:country-region></st1:place> especially for us to shop there. Some of the special items are as follows.
    1. Mango Pickles
    2. Andhra Gongura Pickle
    3. Kotayya Kaajalu
    4. Mirapakaya Bajjilu
    5. Special Vadalu etc..

    For more details- I am enclosing an invitation. If possible, try to attend this colourful event...to know better about the association.

    i am jyo from AP ,and my mother tongue is telugu. this site is incredible and going thro' the blogs is very interesting having lots of info.All these days, i had gathered info but, this is first post.my hobbies are watching movies , listening to lovely music, browsing , playing with my naughty kid.
    hope i could make as many friends i could from now.
