Hi Rash79, My hubby got job in Bethesda. Can you please suggest some good apartments in Bethesda with indian community. Some suggested in Gaithersburg but looks like its long. We have 5 year old son so how about schools in Bethesda?
Where exactly in Bethesda is your husband's office?
Bethesda downtown is a good area for elementary schools and has the best Middle school and high school as well.If your child is 5 years, he will probably go to a preschool and at 6, in an elementary school. You could consider chevy chase, it has good apartments. I realized that it is important to be in a neighbourhood with all amenities closeby in the beginning. It will take you a while to get driving license in Maryland (much more complicated than other states) and living in places like Gaithersburg and Rockville is a bad idea because commute will be extremely challenging. I strongly suggest downtown Bethesda. Please do let me know if I could help in any way.
