    Hi,

This is very very common during pregnancy.Since your skin expands day by day..dryness and itching are the result..Use normal cocoa butter or some vitamin E oil to soothe them..Do not use any other creams unless and until the doctor suggests..take care. Also do not scratch the skin if you feel itchy..try to control that urge

my tummy was really itchy and i was scratching very badly .
i started applying calamine lotion ,,, its very soothing and gives cold effect .
now it doesnt itch and my stretch marks have also reduced .

have bought palmers cocoa butter .... but would apply onlt after having a word with the doctor , or i would save it for after delivery.

I would not use a medicated moisturizer - you dont know what chemicals / medication is in it and weather it will harm the baby or not.. only use it if your GYN has given it to you..

    Otherwise use coco-butter / vitamin E oil ( i use vitamin e oil) / olive oil

Use Baby oil after you take bath. It will help you from the itching. I use to do everyday. If i miss one day also i will get burning and itching. Better use baby oil. No harm and no side effects in that
