    Hi Kamala,

I'm a Kannadiga from Mangalore. I don't reside in tokyo. I am residing in Takasaki (Gunm prefecture). Welcome to japan. There shouldn't any problems for you in Tokyo to live a daily life. At least people do understand some words in English. But in my city absolutely zero English. It's very difficult to survive here, but we are still managing it.

    Enjoy your life in Japan.

    Take care,
    Jessie

    Hi All,

thumba khushi aayithu ishtondu jana kannadigaranna nodi.

I am Rekha - currently in Bangalore. Will be coming to Japan (Osaka) in Jan 2011.
    Osaka hegide?
    Any kannadiga's there?
I dont know Japanese, so will I be able to manage there?
We dont have kids yet, so would be good if I can get a job there - else will get bored. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

How far is Tokyo from Osaka?
