any experience with the long island learning centers for middle school age kids???

    hello,
    i wud like to know from other moms of middle school children if they have any experience with learning centers in long island ny area like huntington learning center, sylvan etc.
    i am trying to find some math help for my daughter in 7th grade. tried kumon, not for her and doesnt want to work with me at home, always a struggle. pls help:bonk

    I know this is a really old thread but I wanted to add some input into this. We've tried out Huntington Learning Center and the kids really didn't like it. The kids needed a lot of freedom with their time. We were recommended to Beestar and the kids enjoyed it a lot more. The kids also really liked the GT (gifted/talented) program where they were able to learn new skills based on their own time.
