Any chickpet saree buying tips, pls share

Hello Ladies,

After living two years in Bangalore, I finally went to Chickpet two days ago. I roamed around the street and some bylanes for one hour to get to know the area. As some suggested, I thought there will be bargaining in the area. But I am not able to get any. I found a supernet saree in a small shop, where the shopkeeper quoted 1100 rupees, he refused to reduce even 100 rupees saying that it is a wholesale price. As I am not sure whether the price is a correct one or not, I just walked away.
Apart from the big stores such as Kuberan's, kalamandir etc, if you know any small/meduim stores with reasonable prices, pls share.
