    Hi Twinkle,

Thank you once again for your encouraging words.

I already had a lengthy discussions with my doctor and I am mostly concerned about so much medication involved in the process, and any possible side effects that it may cause to the mom and the unborn baby. May be, my concerns are not so valid....may be I am just thinking too much...I don't know.

I am just waiting for my AF to show up....then I will decide the next step.

Thank you all and take care!

hats off to you Indianwife2000 for considering IUIs and IVF for the second child, you have to be mentally prepared for an IVF, the physical pain is secondary ...it would definitely be less than labor/delivery ... I personally would not attempt any ART for my second child given that I hv exp with 2 painful failed ICSIs ... nevertheless if u want a sibling for your daughter no matter what ... go for IVF... I would not term it madness, there are loads of info by personal success stories ... go through them ..gather your facts , analyses the pros and cons from ur personal front too ..
if u still have any lingering dbts .. drop a note one of the many on IL wud reply

yes lots of medication ... you dont hv to be overtly concerned abt the side effect on the unborn child ... the risks there are the same % as any normal baby

Thank you Vini for sharing your point of view and personal experience.

Yes, the most important reason I am willing to go for an IVF is my DD....I personally feel she really needs a sibling. My DD came into my life without any effort...completely naturally and that too very quickly...I think in the 2nd or 3rd try.

I have been reading other women's stories who have undergone IVF and were successful....yes it does give me a lot of encouragement but still, somewhere I have my own fears. Like I said earlier, may be my fears have no basis and or I am just stressing myself too much on this issue. I know once I make a decision either way, I will be at peace and can handle anything.

You said you have two failed ICSIs....If I understand correctly, it is optional in an IVF process - right? Based on the discussion with my doctor, I was told we don't have to do this since its mainly for male related issues. Correct me if I am wrong.

What is your status now? If you are still in the ttc process...I wish you lots of luck !!!

    take care!

you would not need ICSI, I am no medical practitioner or an infert specialist but since u already hv a DD, it means there are no issues with the fertilization part, and did u hv endo before ur DD??,
check the endo state basis that then u wud need to undergo lap first then during a 3 -6 cycle window u can undergo the IVF,
take all the required fertility supplements, exercise ,maybe go for acupuncture follow a good fertility diet. if u feel u can also take Chinese herbs .. then give ur best shot for the IVF ... rest is in HIS (the Almighty's) hands

my TTC is still in progress ... wait for my LO is still on

    Hi Vini,

Thank you again for replying to my post.

Yes, I did have endo even before my DD and my doctors were totally amazed as how easily I conceived even with the endo. My doctor just said that there are somethings which are beyond medical explanation and my case could be one of those. But here I am now...struggling for the second one....

My endo size is pretty stable and not too big as per my doctors and they said if it is not bothering me too much, I don't have to undergo any surgery.

I have been taking a lot of supplements like prenatals, DHA, CoQ10, Vit D etc etc. I have been eating right for the past many months and also started exercising recently. I also took a few acupuncture sessions, although didn't feel any difference as such.

Thanks again for all your suggestions. I also wish you good luck and hope and pray you too get the good news soon.

    Take care!

this is very true coz medical sciences do not have any explanation for implantation of bad embies and non implantation of good embies ...

your second one could also be a miracle ... maybe u just need to wait and watch :thumbsup
