    HI IL's

Our 2nd aniversay is in about a week. As it is on a weekday we will be celebrating it on this weekend. But i want to arrange a suprise dinner for my husband on the Aniversary day as he is a great food lover. as i am in my 6th month of pregnancy not sure if i will be abel to make a big menu. We are non-vegitraians. So i need ur tips on some small and good Menu for the dinner. By small i mean arount 5-6 items including dessert.
    Waiting for ur wonderful replies.....

Congrats on your pregnancy and anniversary. Make a soup, some starters, a curry and biryani. Refer Chitvish recipes. best is to outsource some or all items, or go to a good restaurant.

Congrats on your pregnancy and wishes for your anniversary!

    Mushroom &Chicken soup
Chicken fry (options: Pepper fry or 65 or choose prawn fry),
    Ghee rice or briyani
    Chicken or mutton gravy
    Raitha
Desert/Sweet (get it from Outside or do the one which can be prepared on previous day itself).

Have a great day and do inform us what menu you did finally?

You can make Chicken Tikka or Seekh Kabab with salad and garlic bread for appetizer
then mutton roganjosh or butter chicken, kadhai paneer, dal makhani for dinner along with paranthas, naan or chapati. And you can use same salad that u made for appetizer
buy some mithai, cake or icecream for dessert

appetizer-medditerranean salad and chicken spring rolls

maincourse-butter chicken, mutton kababs, zeera rice and naans or mutton khorma and chicken 65 with zeera rice and naans.

    any soft drink of choice.

dessert-get a special anniversary cake decorated beautifully from outside.

you can do this as a candle light dinner at home...and decorate the table/floor of the dining table with rose petals...lit up a candle on the table and turn off all lights before he comes home!..

Hey many congratulations on your pregnancy and anniversary.

    I'd suggest the below.

    Ghee Parathas
    Jeera rice or Mutter Pulao
    Fish or Prawn fry
    Chicken or Mutton masala
    Dal
    Raitha
    Dessert - Gulab Jamun

And also a soft drink alongside the meal.

Do let us know how it went. :)
