Really? Most of the Indian kids I know do not eat Indian food at all, even at home. The mom is usually making sandwiches and pasta for the kids and Indian food for adults.

    Hi purple heart,
I am writing what I learnt from my DH about sharing our food with Americans.
if you have to share food,it's better to be in unopened form and packed item for instance cupcakes or mini chocolates wrapped in original packing. On some special occasions, my DH takes sweets to his ex- boss(American guy who likes Indian food) like gulab jamun etc bought from a Indian groceries store only.

the same thing about food issue applies to play dates as well.you can arrange play date in a public place like a park and get chicken nuggets, juice for all kids.
